The Letter I denotes the site of St Mary Rouncival, which occupied the infamous spot now called Johnson's Court. Letter K shews the Spring Garden. Letter L points out the Church of St Martin in the fields. This plan also shews the Cross erected to Queen Eleanor; the Mews, inclosed within lofty walls; Hedge Lane, now called Whitcomb Street; the site of the
Hay-market, so called even at that day; a kiln in Scotland Yard; &c. &c.
